Elements are neoclassical but have been arranged and decorated with tinsel and paper to effectively turn them into baroque style elements. Note the estimate like artificial columns flanking the central niche.

By 1908 flood waters had begun to erode the rear portion of the building. In this photo most of the convent has been destroyed.
